GWMA is a coalition of municipalities and water agencies responsible for the regional water planning needs of 2 million people in the Gateway Region of Southeast Los Angeles County. While current membership is 29 voting members comprised of cities and water agencies, the interests, activities and services of the GWMA expand to the entire region regardless of membership.
GWMA is issuing a new Request for Proposal (RFP) for catch basin cleaning. It should be noted that GWMA’s role is limited to conducting the competitive proposal process with the Board accepting the proposers that meet the requirements. GWMA is not the contracting agency. But rather, it is presenting the results of the Request for Proposal process to all Gateway Region cities wishing to take advantage of the competitive process. In the event the city wishes to avail themselves of this process, each city is free to contact and/or to enter into contracts with any of the successful proposers.
A copy of the RFP is provided in the link below. Those interested in submitting a proposal shall follow the instructions provided in the RFP.
Written questions are due by July 28th and proposals are due by August 18th.
